Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Citeable (the "App"), a Shopify application operated by Dazzletech ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be a Shopify merchant in good standing with an active Shopify store to use Citeable. By accepting these Terms you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your business.
2. Subscription and Billing
- Free install — Citeable can be installed and used at no cost (Starter tier) with limited features.
- Paid plans — Starter ($19/mo) and Agency ($49/mo) tiers unlock additional features as described in the app. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify; your payment method is never shared with us.
- 7-day free trial — New paid subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. No charge is applied until the trial ends.
- Cancellation — Cancel at any time through the Shopify admin. Your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
- Refunds — Refund requests for billing disputes should be directed to support@dazzletech.co. We will resolve disputes in good faith.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to process or store sensitive personal data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App.
- Use the App in any way that violates Shopify's Partner Program Agreement or applicable laws.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another merchant.
- Use automated scripts to trigger API endpoints beyond normal use patterns.
4. App Functionality
- AI scoring and suggestions are generated algorithmically and by AI language models. Results are informational and not guaranteed to improve search rankings or revenue.
- Revenue attribution is best-effort and depends on browser referrer headers, which are not always present. Attribution numbers should be treated as indicative, not definitive.
- Competitor analysis relies on publicly accessible data from competitor websites. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party domain signals.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, code, and designs of the App are owned by Dazzletech. You retain ownership of your store data. By using the App you grant us a limited license to process your store data solely to provide the App's features.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dazzletech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will meet your expectations.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app banner or email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
